QUILT SHOW & MARKET

The Annual Quilt Show and Market takes place in the fall and features the talent of our members.  Challenge Quilts, National Award winning quilts, and individual member creations are featured in the studio for public viewing. The Market offers items for purchase such as bowl cozies and placemat sets to handmade quilts of all sizes.  Market proceeds directly fund materials used for donation quilts, educational opportunities for members, and operational expenses of the studio. The Quilt Show & Market is announced in the Rossmoor News.

QUILTER RETREATS

“What is a quilt retreat,” you say? For the uninitiated, a quilt retreat, generally, is several days long where you and other quilty cohorts can immerse yourselves in sewing, quilting, chatting, shared activities, and more. On-site, multi day retreats are offered annually and provide ample time to sew without the normal distractions of home life. Member registration is easy and affordable. 

SPEAKER SERIES

We are committed to the enrichment of our members. The new Speaker Series program provides educational and inspirational presentations by renowned quilters who will share their insights and skills during a 2-hour trunk and talk show. The Speaker Series will be presented 2-3 times per year, based on availability. All quilting members are invited to join at no additional fee. Speaker details and dates are announced at member meetings.
